The number of turns and wire feed are also programmed. Exactly identical spirals are produced using a start-up and run-down ramp. The wires to be wound are guided onto the mandrel via a wire guide unit. The machine stops automatically when the number of turns is reached. The mandrel is clamped using a 3-jaw chuck and supported by a sliding counter bearing on the right-hand side. Two pneumatic supports are used when producing very long spirals on a thin mandrel. The exact wire laying is carried out by a servo linear drive unit.

An integrated camera records the desired cutting position in stretched mode.

spirals. If the support plate is full of the finished spirals, it is replaced with an empty support plate. This ensures optimum quality for further processing of the spirals.

The spiral support table is designed to hold spiral plates with different groove sizes and spiral lengths, up to a maximum of 2 meters (other dimensions on request).
