GWS-2000

The GWS-2000 is used to counter-wind the cable that has been formed into a spiral using the SPM100. In order to hold the cable spiral firmly and securely, the winding spindle is equipped with a pneumatic chuck. The linearly movable clamping unit is used to clamp the other end of the spiral. The clamping unit is positioned manually. The cable is tensioned by a pneumatic cylinder.

The machine is equipped with a PLC control where the following parameters are freely programmable:

– Winding spindle speed

– Number of windings

– Launch pad

– Stop ramp
