FBM 20-800

A new fully electronic formed coil banding system FBM20-800 as an innovative further development based on the bandaging system FBM1. It has been specially developed for insulating closed coils, such as shaped coils 500-2050mm long, also called “nose coils”. In addition to the tape headrests, the system is also equipped with a newly developed, automatically adjustable coil support system, which means that the system runs very smoothly even at high speeds. This creates an exact wrapping pattern during the bandaging process. The system is automated using a 6-axis control. After teaching the coil contours, the entire winding process of both legs, including the swiveling of the coil, is controlled electronically.
