W 60

The W 60 layer winding machine is an extremely stable machine for winding layer coils of different diameters. It is equipped with a PLC control system and a foldable counter bearing. The operation of the machine is controlled via a touchscreen display. The machine is equipped with a wire guide for the use of round wire. The correct feed is achieved by a servo-driven linear axis. The machine is designed for winding one “coil” at a time. The counter bearing is equipped with a mechanical clamping device and can be adjusted for different “widths”. The winding tool is clamped between the chuck and the counter bearing. The machine has a pneumatic, rotating wire pressure device for pressing the wire (preventing wire bulging).
