AS 400

The AS 400 is a universally applicable driven payoff with adjustable wire or thread tension.
The AS 400 payoff can only be operated in conjunction with a separate dancer storage.
It is designed primarily as a welded construction using hollow profiles. The area of ​​the coil is covered with a protective grille, the opening of which during operation causes the immediate
stopping of the payoff and the winder (EMERGENCY STOP).
The coil to be unwound is driven by a frequency-controlled three-phase motor via a poly-V belt. The speed of the motor depends on the winding speed specified by the winder.
The wire tension is set on the dancer storage.
It can be coupled with a wide variety of winding devices, whereby the winding speed is specified by the winder.
