SDBA-9000

The new fully electronic bandaging system SDB-A is an innovative further development based on the new
Bandaging systems developed by F.U.R. Winding Technology GmbH. This system is equipped with flexible, easy-to-move supports. Using the air cushion principle, the supports adapt to any body contour to be wrapped (6-axis system) and at the same time offer stable support for the body during the ongoing wrapping process. In addition, the bandaging head is equipped with a pneumatically adjustable head support system, which means that the system runs very smoothly even at high speeds. By combining all electronically controlled supports, an exact wrapping pattern is achieved during the bandaging process. Thanks to an electronic speed control, the winding speed is infinitely variable and can therefore be optimally adapted to the respective working conditions. All winding parameters (teach-in procedure) are entered via a display operator prompt and can be corrected at any time. A PLC in conjunction with a plain text display takes over all control functions. In order to ensure personal protection during the ongoing bandaging operation of the system, laser protection devices are integrated into the working area of the machine. The number of limits depends on the size of the system and can also be implemented multiple times at the customer’s request. A wide range of accessories enables optimal adaptation to any bandaging task.
