ATM 2
The ATM 2 process is based on the ATM12 multiple pay-off frame. A constant wire pull-off force is achieved via a spring-loaded dancer system and an electronically controlled braking system. Hysteresis brakes are used as control brakes. The dancer position is recorded optoelectronically (optical sensor, distance measurement) and transferred to the brake control system and a corresponding braking current is generated.
The controlled braking system enables high rewinding speeds with high winding quality.
In the event of a wire break or at the end of the wire, a quick stop is carried out via a wire break circuit (all pay-off units in use are braked).
An “EMERGENCY STOP”, implemented via the rewinding machine, is carried out via a permanent magnet brake.
