UWM 350-ATM1-550

The UWM350-ATM1-550 wire winding machine can be used to wind wires – especially steel wires – with high strength. The wires to be wound are guided onto the spool holder via a wire guide unit with rollers. At the same time, a wire length measurement is carried out. The entire rewinding process takes place completely automatically, processing the saved and selected program (50 programs possible). The ATM1-550 drain is a wire drain rack for large wire spools. A constant wire withdrawal force is achieved via a spring-loaded dancer system and an electronically controlled braking system. Hysteresis brakes are used as control brakes. The dancer position is recorded optoelectronically (optical sensor, distance measurement) and transferred to the brake control system and a corresponding braking current is generated. The controlled braking system enables high rewinding speeds with sufficient winding quality. The entire wire drain is surrounded by a safety cage. Changing only occurs when the cage is properly closed! In order to achieve simplified and clearer programming operation, the control panel was equipped with a touchscreen display.
